The Rob Armstrong Band

Please welcome The Rob Armstrong Band one of our talents of the TROUT TOWN JAMBOREE (Saturday). The Rob Armstrong will play at the Trout Town Main Stage on Saturday, July 30, 2011 (Noon to 2:30).

Robby Armstrong has been in the studio in Nashville and Los Angeles this past year recording is next Album. His producer Darrell Brown is an accomplished producer that has produced Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes and has written number one songs for Keith Urban and Josh Turner to just name a few. On the Album Robby wrote with leading writers out of Nashville and Texas. Radney Foster, Liz Rose and Travis Meadows all wrote songs with Robby that will be featured on the new album. Along with 2 duets with Sara Buxton that has had hits on the top 100 country charts. This summer Robby and his band will be traveling to New Mexico to do a cameo spot in a movie where he will be performing is soon to be hit Rodeo song. Which also will be debuting in the next SIM world video game.


Along with all his adventures into the music world he still finds time to help out in the community where he is always donating his time for charity events in Sunset and Seal Beach along with his wifes charity Children Today that they put on an annual Halloween event every year. Robby and his band has played for the charity event The Firemans Ball for last 3 years and is always lending is voice and talents for the Mothers Day Event in Sunset beach for many many years. If that isn't enough on his plate he is also hosting his own TV show on SBTV3 that is called the Robby Armstrong show where he will have special music guests.


The music Robby and his band play is American music like Johnny Cash, Bob Segar to the Rolling Stones to Tom Petty to name a few of the cover tunes Robby loves to play along side his original music which is a Americana, Southern Rock, Country based music. Robby and his band have been playing in the Seal Beach and Sunset and surrounding areas for over 15 years. Entertaining up and down the coast with his energetic style and witty humor and always including the audience in joining in if its not singing along or grabbing a tambourine girl to help out with the song. He always gets people up on there feet to dance and enjoy the music. So come on out and get a taste of some great, fun and exciting music that Robby Armstrong and his band will provide for you anytime you see them.
