A Message from out Host:

I'm honored to be the Master of Ceremonies for this truly amazing event in beautiful June Lake. At the age of 13, I recorded my first album with The All American Boys Chorus at RCA studios in Hollywood. As a soloist and section leader for this group, I was fortunate to tour and perform all over the world, for many famous stars such as Bob Hope, John Ridder, Henry Winkler, Gerald Ford, and Ronald Reagan to name a few. This sparked my love for music and performing arts. After a successful high school and college football stint, I re-captured the love of music under the umbrella of my newly found mountain town June Lake. The past ten years have been a fruitful endeavor of meeting and performing with some of the most amazing artists. Starting with Bongo's and Congas, I am proud to say my band "Lava Moon" has ignited my passion for the perfection of well orchestrated and original music. This passion has blessed me with my own recording studio nestled amongst colorful streams and beautiful trees in June Lake. My studio is special because all produced albums have brought out musical talent of local "Loopers", that may never get the opportunity to record live, hear themselves in playback, or burn CD's without a trip to the fast paced Hollywood hills at a high cost. Bongo Borza Music Studio and Sound Engineering is committed to providing confidence and quality recordings to that person who truly believes their "In Shower" singing melodies or "inspiring park bench guitar riffs" are heard by at least one special person.....YOURSELF! So join us during this fantastic musical week, and make sure you make it to the Sierra Inn on August 19, to hear the most amazing Original Songwriters Showcase! See for yourself what a pen, paper, belief, and a guitar can create......these are their stories.

See You On the 19th!! Starts at 8pm

Andy "Bongo" Borza

Molly Ginther - I’ve always loved music and musical instruments, especially the guitar. I picked up my first when I was 11 years old, and haven’t looked back. All the generations of music inspire me, as do the songwriters behind the music. I love listening to lyrics and writing them. Being able to paint a picture with words and music is such a liberating experience.

Hannah Greene-Stark

Hannah Greene-Stark - I'm a girl from Maine who hitch hiked to California to play rock an' roll: Joke. But I am looking' forward to playing in collaboration with some friends for this event. It's been too long since I rock and rolled. Daddy taught me. Thank you for this opportunity.

Molly Taylor

Molly Taylor - Living in Tahoe and playing a circuit of open mic's as well as recently opening shows for some local bands. Her voice is like an angel except she will be drinking whiskey on set, she will you give you goose bumps and you will very happy. If I had got to pick out two best friends for molly to play music with (alive or dead) I'd say Anni Oakley and Johnny Cash.

David Cummings

David Cummings - Music strikes a chord in some of my earliest memories. My soul has been filled with the joy of it, since I played the Piano in grade school. I've spent most of the last decade singing and playing my guitar in one of Mammoth Lakes' favorite local bands, "Almost Famous." Now, after moving to Lake Tahoe, I've had time to focus on "my songs." I'm excited to share the best of them with you & hope you will come out to support this event, you will not be disappointed!.

Bodie Jake

Bodie Jake - Jake arrived in California via his 1971 Buick Le 'Sabre from Sedona, Arizona in the winter of 1991. He quickly landed a spot playing guitar for the Legendary Outcast. This led to the forming of Belligerence in 1993. After playing across the Southland, including the Roxy and the Whiskey as well as a tour with Flotsam and Jetsam, Jake left Belligerence and found himself in June Lake in the summer of 1997.
"I loved June Lake from day one" says Jake. After outlasting world champions in the 2004 World Series of Poker, Jake turned his focus back to music. "Be yourself, be original" says this honorary lifetime member of the International Society of Poets.

Yoshi

Yoshi - My new son has created the beginning of a musical level..... I have never experienced in my life! My husband Mark and I have created a golden Jewel. We will use the loving energy of our son Jonas, as well as with each other, to keep the June Lake Music revival alive!!! I can't wait for this amazing event, and to play my cello, and "Pay it Forward" to this beautiful mountain town!!!!! Enjoy!! See you on the 19th.... Yoshi

Tavish

Tavish - Native Texan all the way! They just won't let me back in baby. Placed in June Lake on the witness protection program for the last 10 years, and loving it obviously. Music, art, and friends are my blood, bones ,and brain. Come have a look. Lots of influences including jazz rock artists like YES, King Krim and so on. Love playing drums but recently been playing lots of guitar which is interesting cause I don't know cords, I make em up! Like I said, come have a look.

Jessica Roselius

Jessica Roselius - I was born in the dirty south with the fresh smell of soggy marsh and music on my mind! My love for song writing has been a burning flame in my mind since dodging water moccasins, and red neck ford trucks with budweiser cans fly'n out everywhere. One day I was smacked in the side of the head by one of these fly'n beer cans and this knocked..... not sense into me, but music!! Visiting June Lake this summer, and meeting Bongo Borza with his amazing White Trash Recording Studio has inspired me to no end!! June Lake is a perfect place for a Music Festival because the inspiration of mountain beauty, positive vibe, and amazing energy the local people"Loopers", give to all that visit!! Thank you so much for letting me play!! I hope you all enjoy my songs!!! C u on Aug. 19th! Luv me...Jessica Roselius.

Chris Wehby

Chris Wehby - I grew up In Cincinnati Ohio and found myself in this quirky little town of June Lake. Music has always played a part in my life and I seem to have songs floating around in my head all the time so hopefully I can puy my thoughts in order and pull some together for this event.

Corduroy Uptgraft

Corduroy Uptgraft - Through a series of trials and tribulations, it is my honor to accompany these fine June Lake musicians!!! Although I recently had shoulder surgery, this special event is worth the pain. It is truly a tribute to the quality of music that falls through the loop!!!
