Jeffrey James is an incredible songwriter, singer, guitarist and performer. He covers all the bases with his retro/country western music that is heart-thumping and toe-tapping. His swinging beat rocks a crowd with country, soul, gospel and rock music. The catchy tunes bring folks to their feet to dance or tears to their eyes with his heartfelt ballads of love and conviction.

Jeffrey has paid his dues on the music scene, touring with some of country's big music names. In the early days and in his rock era he played with the band "Cathouse" who opened for Guns and Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jane's Addiction. Later, as his career progressed, he toured and played in opening acts for Dwight Yoakam, Chris La Due and Neal McCoy. So, music is in his blood and fills his soul.

Jeffrey now resides in California's Eastern Sierra where he brings his true professional musicianship, the likes of which have not been seen in the area before. He moved to the Sierra in 2008 and is inspired to write some of his best music yet!

Some of his inspiration comes from Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, Elvis, The Beatles and many more. You will hear in his voice some of these artists as he weaves a musical tapestry that warms the heart and inspires the mind.

Jeffrey is finishing a CD set for release in 2010, which will show everyone what a professional talent he is. From his recordings to his live performances with his group "The Wanted Gang," this is one performer you will not want to miss.
